The forgotten boys | Untold
Role: Director/ Producer
The Forgotten Boys follows the stories of three strangers who collectively depict the realities and struggles of incarceration and life after. The common thread between these young men is a prison-based English class and debate team taught and developed by Trinidadian journalist. Restorative justice programs within the prison tend to be a safe haven, providing remandees and inmates with a sense of purpose. This film takes you behind and beyond the bars seeking to humanize a sector of society often isolated.
Winner Audience Choice Award at "Caribbean Tales International Film Festival," is an official selection in “Lift Off Global Network Showcase,” a semi-finalist at "Dumbo Film Festival" and an award nominee in four categories at "Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival" including runner up for Best Film.
